Hi, I'm Daren. Thank you for dropping by my “About Me” page. It's nice to meet you!

A bit about me: I'm the oldest of eight children, born & raised in Utah & Idaho, and have lived in Oregon & Oklahoma as well as Germany & Switzerland.

After completing high school and a church mission to Europe, I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. I was blessed to work in the high-tech arena for almost 30 years, developing and designing new printing systems for HP, Inc.

Upon early retirement, I began a new career in the finance, retirement planning, asset management and life insurance industry. I love assisting people make informed decisions that bless and enhance their lives!

This includes helping my family and friends with the many choices available regarding Medicare. This is such a crucial decision, and it seems to get more complicated every year. It's important to me that I take the time to make sure to hear & understand your needs and concerns. I believe that working together we can make the right choice for you!

Over the years, I've visited the Upstate NY area several times (Joel is my Brother-in-Law, and Matt is my nephew), but just recently decided to move here full-time. I'm really loving this new experience. Beautiful scenery, compelling history, fun activities, and the people I've met are down-right good folks! A friend of mine recently called this area “God's country!” and I have to agree!

I'm happy and excited to be here, to learn more about our wonderful community, and to call you one of my friends. Come in & let's get to know each other!
